Project Overview

Actron Global delivered execution-led electrical and instrumentation support for ICTAS Saudi Arabia LLC as part of the King Khalid International Airport Development & Expansion Programme, contributing to the successful completion and commissioning of critical airport infrastructure systems.

Scope of Work
  • Construction completion of airport electrical systems
  • Pre-commissioning and commissioning of MV switchgear and substations
  • MV cabling and branch wiring installation
  • LED lighting upgrades
  • Power integration for elevators, escalators, and moving walkways
  • UPS systems, earthing, and lightning protection
Project Context

The programme required the installation and integration of complex electrical infrastructure within a live airport environment.

Major electrical systems — including medium-voltage switchgear, transformer substations, lighting networks, and conveying system power integration — had to be delivered safely and in full compliance with KKIA operational standards. All works were executed while maintaining schedule certainty and minimising disruption to ongoing airport operations.
