Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join the PMC team for a large-scale Phosphate project in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring activities to ensure effective project delivery in alignment with timelines, budget, and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of the master project schedule
• Oversee planning and scheduling activities across all project phases
• Review and validate contractor schedules and progress reports
• Ensure alignment between project scope, schedule, and execution strategy
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks
• Develop recovery plans and mitigation strategies where required
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commercial teams
• Provide schedule analysis including critical path, float, and productivity trends
• Support risk management and change management processes
• Prepare and present planning reports to project leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with PMC standards and project planning procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
• 12+ years of experience in project planning within large industrial, mining, or EPC/PMC environments
• Prior experience in Phosphate, Mining, Oil & Gas, or mega infrastructure projects preferred
• Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and project planning tools
• Proven experience in managing schedules for large-scale projects
• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in the Middle East, preferably Saudi Arabia

Additional Notes

Preferred Qualifications:
• PMP or Planning-related certifications
• Experience in giga or mega project environments
• Familiarity with integrated project controls within PMC frameworks
